Isolation and selection of Bacillus sp. with the potential biosynthesis of protease from fermented soybean products

This study aims to isolate and select strains of Bacillus for protease production from fermented soybean products. To evaluate the ability production, authors applied hydrolysis diameter measurement method on Skim milk agar (SMA) submerged fermentation (SmF). The results showed that 29 bacterial were isolated products in An Giang Can Tho provinces. Based morphological biochemical characteristics bacteria, these are defined belong genus. generation test SMA helped eight with a high halo diameter. In SmF 106 cells/ml, pH 7.2, at 37°C 48 hours, ML01 strain gave highest specific activity 185.92 U/mg. Sequence analysis 16S rRNA gene region exhibited relationship sequence subtilis.
